In conjunction with What About Kuching (WAK) 2019 and supported by WOW Design Limited, theatrethreesixty and Two Much Drama presents LOST/FOUND, a production featuring four short musicals about four desperately lost people, hoping to be found and not left behind.
The audience can look forward to themes that will speak to them at different stages of their lives.

Written and composed by musical theatre powerhouse Nick Choo and directed by theatrethreesixty’s award-winning director Christopher Ling, LOST/FOUND premieres FIRST in Kuching before touring to Johor Bharu and Kuala Lumpur this December.
On the inspiration for LOST / FOUND, director Christopher Ling, says, “I have always admired Nick Choo’s mini musicals from afar, never having had the chance to direct them. That is until this production of LOST/FOUND. Not only have I had the awesome chance to reconceptualize an entire outing of these musicals but am also premiering a brand new one too.”
On his decision to premiere the musical in Kuching, and not in Kuala Lumpur, he says, “The overwhelmingly warm and welcoming response that we got for our staging of EVERY BRILLIANT THING in Kuching last year was truly the clincher. The hunger and thirst for quality theatrical productions here in Kuching is on the rise and theatrethreesixty is most glad to continue to play our part alongside TWO MUCH DRAMA in stocking the fire further.”
Ling is the co-founder and artistic director of Malaysian theatre collective, theatrethreesixty. His work as a director of plays, operas and musicals has been seen in Malaysia, Singapore and London, UK.
He was awarded the Boh Cameronian Arts Award for Best Direction (Musical Theatre) in 2012. He also received the Anugerah Seni Negara (National Arts Awards) Young Talent Award for Theatre Directing in 2009. He trained in Drama and Theatre Arts at Middlesex University, UK and with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
LOST/FOUND is written and composed by Nick Choo, a Malaysian composer, musician and playwright whose original works of musical theatre have been produced in Kuala Lumpur, Australia, South Korea and Singapore.
In 2013, his original piece Dreaming Outside The Box swept eight out of 14 awards in the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre’s Short+Sweet Musical festival. He was the recipient of the inaugural Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Creative Excellence Award in 2014.
