Get ready to laugh with our local stand-up comedian collective SaraLawak at ‘La-WAK Sik?! Vol 2’, held as part of What About Kuching (WAK) 2019) on October 19, 7pm, at The Glassroom, Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) at the Yayasan Sarawak Building.
The group of local funny men comprised of a multiracial group of comedians from very different walks of life.
Aaron Chang, a Pharmacist by day and DJ by night, will be giving dosages of jokes which can only be prescribed by a funny man such as he.
Maclean Patrick, the creative community’s resident angry uncle who recently played the lead role in the Petronas Gawai 2019 advertisement, is ready to blur the lines on what differentiates an Indian from an Iban.
We will also be entertained by two Kuching Indian comics, Ashweein and Sivanesan, that will not only fulfil the required quota of having Indian people in a function, but will also tell anecdotes that will leave you in stiches and craving an antidote (the show’s pharmacist may be able to help with that).
The host for the night will be the one and only Camillus Caem, who has his identity stuck between a Mexican and a Bidayuh.
Tickets are at RM35 (pre-sale) and RM50 (Door sale). Entrance is for a mature audience (aged 18 and above) only. Tickets can be booked at 016-8083118 (Ash) or at SaraLawak page https://www.facebook.com/saralawak/ or the event page itself https://www.facebook.com/events/2423282744626707.
